Is your wireless system in the correct spectrum?
The Australian Communications and Media Authority has revised regulations protecting consumers from buying wireless microphones or audio devices operating in the 694‑820 megahertz (MHz) frequency range.
What can you do?
- Check if you can retune your wireless audio transmitters to use a different frequency range. The range available in your area will depend on television broadcasting arrangements, which are changing and can vary in different locations. Check your user manual or contact your supplier to find out if your wireless audio transmitter can be retuned so that it operates in a different frequency band.
- Download a fact sheet to determine the available frequencies in your local area, or enter your address into the ACMA channel finder.
- Contact us to talk about a wireless microphone solution, or any outside broadcast equipment.
